Holy rollers or Godless heathens? You decide.  Pop stars use a lot of religious icons in their videos. Like A Prayer was just the tip of the rosary beads. So when it came time for dancer Donna DeLory to prepare for her solo career, she made sure to feature spiritual imagery. Granted, the song title lends itself to a celebration of divine worship. And her new age sentiments might be sincere, because DDL just released a collection of ancient Indian mantras set to modern beats. Still, the concept of one of Madonna’s former back-up singers as a modern day Buddha is hard to swallow. She does work herself up into a sacred sweat, with some sharp dance moves straight out of Bollywood. Perhaps she should have asked her higher power for a better chart position. Despite releasing this fine tune, her records were left behind by the pop flock. Heaven help her now.
